Job summary

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer of Spanish in the Department of World Languages and Cultures with a preferred start date of August 2027. This nine-month position is for work to be performed in Georgia.

Responsibilities include teaching lower-division Spanish (and possibly upper-division courses), may include teaching in English for majors, on Kennesaw or Marietta campuses, plus departmental service.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online Spanish (mostly lower division; may include upper-level courses)
• Teach on the Kennesaw or Marietta campus as needed
• Engage in department/college/university service and activities
• Establish a teaching environment where all students can be successful
• Prioritize student success and accommodate a broad range of educational goals
• Maintain a teaching load of 4/5 for the year
