Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• North Carolina teaching licensure or eligibility is required.
• Strong knowledge of effective instructional practices and assessment.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all learners.
• Utilize research-based instructional strategies and technology to increase student engagement and achievement.
• Analyze student data to monitor progress, provide targeted interventions, and adjust instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and assessment data.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture with high expectations and PBIS alignment.
• Actively participate in professional learning teams and collaborate with staff to meet student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and expectations.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

North Carolina teaching license in Elementary Education or eligibility for North Carolina licensure

Strong knowledge of effective instructional practices
