Job summary

Pottsgrove Middle School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania is seeking an enthusiastic 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach to lead the program, plan practices, coach during games, supervise athletes, and promote sportsmanship aligned with Pottsgrove’s athletic values.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of basketball coaching experience, a comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules and PAC guidelines, and, preferably, prior interscholastic sports involvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years coaching basketball.
• Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules.
• Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines familiarity.
• Experience in interscholastic sports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of middle school girls basketball.
• Plan practices, game strategy, and communication.
• Ensure adherence to PIAA and PAC rules and guidelines.
• Foster student-athlete academics, sportsmanship, Discipline and leadership on and off the court.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director regarding facility use, transportation, and equipment inventory.
