Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing K–8 public charter schools committed to academic excellence and equitable access. We seek a passionate 8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and strengthen literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.

AMS teachers collaborate in PLCs, use data-driven decision-making, and engage families while contributing to school-wide improvement. Start ASAP at one of our Westside campuses.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area) OR
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area OR
• Minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience
• Plus SEI Endorsement or completion of 45 hours of SEI training is preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning and interventions.
• Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
