Qualifications

• Must hold a current Indiana License/Certification in English Language Arts.
• Fluent in English in all domains: Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Reading.

Responsibilities

• Use balanced literacy concepts such as shared reading and guided reading.
• Provide differentiated instruction and EL strategies for DLI/EL students.
• Use formative assessments to guide reading instruction.
• Teach 8th grade English Language Arts in a Dual Language Immersion setting.
• Collaborate with Bilingual Education Specialist and department staff.
• Administer state assessments and STAMP.
• Attend professional development with district personnel.
