Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking a hands-on shift supervisor to lead the safety room floor personnel in molding operations. You will oversee safety, compliance, productivity, and quality to meet customer specifications and schedules.

You will train staff, maintain 5S standards, and collaborate with quality, scheduling, and customer service to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement across the production line.

Qualifications

• Prioritization and multi-tasking under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience with ISO, FDA, GMP, OSHA standards.
• Technical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise safety room floor personnel to meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clean room and production area standards; ensure 5S/Set-In-Order.
• Set up and troubleshoot molding, assembly, packaging equipment; coordinate with Quality.
• Monitor shift performance; track production, quality, scrap, and delivery schedules; provide feedback.
• Train temporary and full-time staff on standard work and proper methods.
