Job summary

Meijer is seeking a warehouse associate to manage receiving, storage, and shipping of Fresh and Frozen foods. You will ensure order accuracy, maintain temperature standards, and support sanitation throughout the distribution center.

Responsibilities include following inventory controls, coordinating with drivers and unloaders, and maintaining a high standard of safety and attendance. Opportunities for growth exist within a family-owned retailer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment. Ensures that all all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.
