Job summary

Meijer is looking for a Food Clerk to empower a welcoming, well-run store experience in Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and help maintain displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and accurate use of store technology, while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
