The Automation Software Engineer III is a position within the development team responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and product owners, to identify test requirements and develop effective test strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
2. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
3. Design, develop, and maintain automation framework.
4. Drive root cause analysis and fix software defects found.
5. Provide guidance and support to other Automation Software Engineers.
6. Review others' designs, code changes, and test scripts.
7. Collaborate with other engineers to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
8. Collaborate with the product owner to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and define acceptance criteria.
9. Ensure on-time delivery of agreed milestones and deliverables.
10. Be a quick learner of the internal framework.

Skills

1. 5+ years of experience developing automation using Python or Java.
2. Experience with Behavior Driven Development.
3. Experience with Object-Oriented Design, database interaction, and services communication.
4. Experience as a senior developer with design responsibilities.
5. Advanced oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Preferred

1. Experience in software development using C++ or C#.
2. Experience with Pytest or similar testing frameworks.
3. Experience with gRPC for service communication.
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
5. Experience in the Retail industry, electronic payment systems, and/or Point-Of-Sale systems.
6. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
