B4Corp in Sterling, VA, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to work on a government-focused program. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers compensation up to $245,000 per year with standard core hours 9am–4pm.

Responsibilities include supporting network and enterprise computing infrastructure, cloud and on-premises deployments, and secure configuration of VPNs, firewalls, and network gear. On-call support after hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years’ experience in network engineering.
• Experience with commercial cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) building VPCs with Linux VMs and securing them.
• Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in cloud and physical environments.
• Experience configuring and hardening network gear including firewalls, switches, routers, IPS.
• Experience with commercial VPNs.
• Experience with commercial messaging applications and Android tablet devices.
• Ability to work independently and provide after-hours call-in support.

This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology with containerized solutions and orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. We are actively seeking Network Engineers with a minimum of 16 years’ experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following…

• Working knowledge and expertise using the customer’s core appliances and services to include their networks.
