B4Corp is seeking a Network Engineer in Sterling, VA to design and implement secure network solutions. The role requires extensive cloud, Linux, and security experience, and the candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Description

Position Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.

Mandatory Requirements

• Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
• SME (16+ years’ experience)

We are actively seeking Network Engineers with a minimum of 16 years’ experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following…

• Experience and expertise working with commercial cloud service providers (eg. Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) building out VPCs with Linux VMs, configuring them as network appliances (eg. Linux as a router) and locking them down to meet cyber security standards.
• Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in both cloud and physical environments.
• Experience configuring and hardening network gear to include firewalls, switches, routers, IPS, etc.
• Experience and expertise working with commercial VPNs
• Experience working with commercial messaging applications (CMA) and Android tablet devices.
• Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends, ie. Call in support.

Optional Requirements

• Experience and expertise deploying CNGA internet network infrastructure with an thorough understanding of the customers mission
• Working knowledge and expertise using the customer’s core appliances and services to include their networks.
• Working knowledge and experience with the customer’s core networks
