Job summary

Amcor LLC in Terre Haute, Indiana, is seeking a press, converting and extrusion operator helper to support setup, adjustments, operation, cleaning, and loading/unloading of equipment. The role focuses on quality printed film, polyethylene film, and finished bags within a straight night schedule.

Offered compensation includes $21.11/hr with a $1.25 night-shift incentive for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with company contributions, paid time off, and tuition

Qualifications

  • Proficient with basic computer tools and data entry.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
  • Identify source of problems on machinery and take corrective action.
  • Read, interpret, and stay current with department work instructions.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist setup, conversion and extrusion equipment operation.
  • Assist with loading/unloading, cleaning and routine maintenance.
  • Identify and help resolve issues on complex machinery with guidance.
  • Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with operators and Crew Leaders to meet production goals.
