• Maintain competency in subject matter areas of certification and assignment; training provided as needed.
• Employ assessment methods to identify student proficiency and plan programs using data.
• Foster harmonious relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Promote School District Goals as defined in the Board of Education Strategic Plan.
• Participate in educational committees for professional growth and promotion of the profession.
• Develop awareness of local culture and provide bicultural/multicultural instruction.
• Use Rubicon Atlas for culture-based unit development.
• Supervise and train instructional paraprofessionals as needed.
• Adhere to district policies and professional teaching standards.
• Submit weekly lesson plans and maintain digital copies.
