Job summary

You will set ambitious goals with students, monitor progress, communicate with families, collaborate on daily lesson plans, submit grades, and participate in professional development to grow as an educator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by THECB.
• Texas Educator Certification, or willing to join ACP to get certified.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms.
• Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous lessons in your content area using 1:1 blended learning to engage students in college readiness.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor progress with regular feedback.
• Track student growth and create growth plans from data and coach input.
• Communicate regularly with families via phone, video, email, or school website.
• Create learning environments conducive to physical, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with co-planners to align daily lesson plans and resources.
