Job summary

Edgewood Middle School in Warsaw, Indiana invites applications for the role of Head Coach for 7th Grade Football. The position reports to the Athletic Director and involves directing the coaching staff and all program activities for the season.

The ideal candidate has high school or college coaching experience and playing background; Indiana teaching license is desirable. This is a part-time, seasonal role within Warsaw Community Schools’ athletic program.

Qualifications

• Successful coaching experience in high school or college, preferably as a head coach.
• High School and/or collegiate playing experience in one or more sports.
• Indiana teaching license (Desired)

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate their program.
• Coordinate assistant coaches and workouts.
• Lead practices and conditioning, plan contests.
• Attend and run organized practices on scheduled dates.
• Prepare for home contests and attend all scheduled contests.
• Work with athletic director on scheduling and eligibility checks.
• Coordinate transportation and inventory of equipment.
• Evaluate assistant coaches and conduct off-season programs.
