Job summary

Warsaw Community Schools Edgewood Middle School in Warsaw, Indiana is seeking a Head Coach for Wrestling. The role reports to the Athletic Director and leads the program, directing coaching staff and setting practice and competitive schedules.

The ideal candidate will have prior high school or college coaching experience and playing experience in one or more sports. Indiana teaching license is desired; this is a part-time, seasonal coaching position within the school athletics program.

Qualifications

• Successful coaching experience in high school or college, preferably as a head coach.
• Indiana teaching license (Desired).
• High school and/or collegiate playing experience in one or more sports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate their program.
• Workouts/conditioning/practices.
• Contests.
• Attend and run organized practice on all scheduled practice dates.
• Attend all scheduled contests.
• Coordinate the transportation schedule for your team.
• Prepare and turn in an inventory of all equipment within the program.
• Evaluate all assistant coaches.
