Job summary

Qualifications

• Teaching certification and content proficiency required or strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom strongly preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Deliver content and grade level curriculum and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress with formal and informal assessments and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate student progress with families weekly.
• Facilitate using technology to improve achievement and manage tasks.
• Maintain a consistent behavior management system aligned to school initiatives.
• Support a positive school culture and communal learning environment.
• Engage with families, host tutoring sessions, and participate in meetings.
