Great Lakes Academy in Pontiac, MI is hiring a Full Time 7th/8th Grade Teacher. A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement is preferred, though eligible candidates pursuing alternative certification may be considered.

The role focuses on standards-aligned instruction, student development, and collaboration with families and staff to support student success in a nurturing charter school environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required or preferred.
• A valid Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement is preferred.
• Master’s degree is a plus and relevant endorsements enhance eligibility.

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction for 7th/8th grade.

• Participate in IEP/504 and other student support meetings.
