Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Schuylkill Haven, PA is seeking a Plastic Extrusion Operator to set up, operate, monitor and maintain extrusion equipment for plastic products.

Qualifications

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
• Inspect products regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Measure and record production data, including dimensions, weights, and output.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Package finished products and prepare materials for shipment as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals.

The Plastic Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment used in the production of plastic products. Extrusion Machine Operator Schedule:

7pm-7am Rotating Schedule - 36 hours/48 hours
