Harcros Chemicals Inc is hiring for the position of Chemical Worker - Warehouse at our Memphis location. This is an entry-level, full-time role within the Management and Manufacturing job functions in the Chemical Manufacturing industry.

Job Summary

The Chemical Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products, including handling hazardous waste, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and railcars, verify shipments, and check for damages.
• Assemble customer orders, check paperwork, and process shipping documents.
• Operate forklift trucks and other mechanical equipment safely.
• Handle hazardous materials, including transloading chemicals like hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies related to hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical equipment.
• Good communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Physical and Work Environment

This role requires physical strength to lift up to 100 pounds, and involves working near moving machinery, chemicals, and in outdoor weather conditions. Safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.
