Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a hands-on Custodian for the 2nd shift to maintain clean, safe facilities that support employees and operations across RCI buildings. You will perform general custodial cleaning, restroom care, floor and carpet maintenance, and assist with special projects following established procedures and training.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) required.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to work the 2nd shift.

As a 2nd shift Custodian at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and well cared for facilities that support employees, operations, and specialized work areas across RCI buildings. This position helps ensure that the work environment remains organized, functional, and ready to support the demands of an aerospace and defense manufacturing setting.

In this hands-on role, you will perform general cleaning, restroom care, floor and carpet maintenance, recycling, inventory support, and clean room cleaning in accordance with established procedures. You may also assist with special projects such as lamp replacement, window washing, and other facility support needs.
