Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a substitute/teacher assistant for Greene County Educational Service Center INC program. The role supports classroom teachers with programmatic tasks and student supervision in an inclusive setting.

Responsibilities include delivering lessons aligned with TEACCH and INC curriculum, assisting with behavior management, and data collection to monitor student progress. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Primary responsibility is to provide programmatic support as directed by the classroom teacher, and perform other relevant tasks within the school building.
• Location is Greene County Educational Service Center and INC program responsibilities apply.

Responsibilities

• Delivers instructional lessons aligned with TEACCH philosophy and INC curriculum.
• Participates in gross motor and physical education activities.
• Provides tailored therapies to students as prescribed by related service personnel.
• Escorts children to assigned instructional areas.
• Assists teacher in teaching students to follow routinized systems, including schedules.
• Provides behavioral interventions and models appropriate behaviors.
• Assists children with toileting and other self-care needs.
• Supports students in inclusive environments in the school and community.
• Collaborates with support staff and other building personnel.
• Participates in professional development to increase safety for students and staff.
• Engages in appropriate physical management tactics for safety.
• Acquires new skills through professional development.
• Participates in annual evaluation procedures.
• Assists with data collection to monitor student growth and FBAs/BIPs.
