Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a 7.5T Home Delivery Driver to ensure smooth, safe deliveries and on-time service from Marsh Leys, Bedford. The role involves multi-drop routes, manual handling, and assisting a driver's mate in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe, efficient manner within regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Assist with manual handling and installation of white goods (washing machines).
• Complete multi-drop deliveries between 15–45 drops with a driver’s mate.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Pay Rate: £40,638 based on contracted 48 hour week + Any Overtime (Paid breaks)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Installing white goods - washing machines
• Assisted by a drivers mate.
• Multi-Drop deliveries between 15-45 drops

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid 7.5T Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
• No more than 6 points
