Job summary

Monadnock Regional School District is seeking an elementary teacher to provide classroom instruction across specified content areas. The role includes planning for instruction, curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and creating a nurturing environment to foster social and emotional growth.

The successful candidate will hold a New Hampshire credential/certification appropriate to the grade span and collaborate with building staff to implement district curricula and assess student

Qualifications

• New Hampshire credential or certification in the appropriate grade span.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and classroom management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily lessons aligned with established curriculum.
• Provide instruction in areas of certification.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment conducive to student learning.
• Assess students using formative and summative methods.
• Communicate student progress to students, families and administration.
• Collaborate with staff to meet student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information per FERPA.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
• Follow district policies and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building Principal or designee.
