Job summary

Wilmette Public Schools District 39 is seeking a temporary 6th-grade boys volleyball coach to mentor student-athletes during the season. The role includes coaching, supervising and coordinating practices and games in the school gym and venues as scheduled.

The coach will teach fundamentals, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, communicate with students, parents and administration, and ensure safety. The position offers a seasonal stipend of approximately $2,600.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or playing volleyball preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support young athletes.
• Must be available for practices and games as scheduled.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
