Job summary

Pingree-Buchanan School District is seeking a dedicated 6th/7th Grade Teacher to join our team in Pingree, North Dakota. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction aligned with state standards and support both academic and social development of middle level students.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons in math and social studies, differentiating instruction, using data to inform practice, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) or related field.
• Valid North Dakota Teaching License (or ability to obtain).
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum and assessment practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues in grade-level and professional learning communities
• Implement district curriculum and instructional best practices
• Support students’ social-emotional development
• Participate in MTSS/RTI processes and student support teams
• Supervise students during assigned duties (recess, lunch, etc.)

Education
