Job summary

Hire Quest Direct in Lafayette, LA is seeking an experienced welder to perform GTAW, SMAW, MIG and Flux Core welding as required. You will read blueprints, execute 6G pipe welds, inspect welds for quality, and operate welding equipment safely in a production environment.

The role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, maintain workmanship standards, and work well both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines. OSHA safety compliance and a neat workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial, pipe, or structural welding experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a 6G welding test.

• Must be able to use hand tools, grinders, and measuring equipment.
