Qualifications

• Must pass 6G stick pipe welding test on 2-1/2" XXH pipe.
• Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW (stick) welding on pipe in 6G position.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to determine specs.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fit, align, and tack-weld pipe and components.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance.
• Maintain equipment and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with fabricators, fitters, and QC.
• Maintain production and quality records.
