Position: Machine Operator B

Position Objective: Responsible for operating production equipment on automated processing lines. Make adjustments or minor repairs to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Drive a forklift, unload trailers, clean raw material areas, and operate key processing equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Integrity and strong work ethics
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work non-standard hours if necessary
• Manage job-related stress and foster productive interactions

Job Responsibilities

• Follow all policies, procedures, and recognized practices
• Monitor automated processing lines
• Participate in quality improvement projects
• Perform quality checks on products
• Assist with mechanical repairs
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Complete and file documentation timely
• Communicate with production, shipping, and management teams
• Report equipment issues to management
• Communicate processing info to incoming shift
• Assist in training new operators
