Job description

Title: Machine Operator B

Position Objective: Responsible for operating production equipment on mostly automated processing lines. The candidate will make necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. They will also drive a forklift, unload trailers, clean raw material areas, and operate key processing equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Team player
• Willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Effective stress management and workplace interaction skills

Job Responsibilities:

1. Follow all policies, procedures, and recognized practices
2. Monitor automated processing lines
3. Participate in quality improvement projects
4. Perform quality checks on products
5. Assist with mechanical repairs
6. Maintain safe and clean work area
7. Complete and file documentation promptly
8. Communicate with production, shipping, and management teams
9. Report equipment issues to shift leader or management
10. Share processing information with incoming shift personnel
11. Assist in training new operators
