Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a manufacturing technician to set up and adjust tooling, equipment, and lines. You will perform basic repairs and interpret specifications and work orders to ensure proper setups and safe operations.

You will document time and production data, assist supervision, and train new staff while maintaining clean, safe work areas and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: high school plus one year of manufacturing experience.
  • Must own basic hand tools; capable of handling and transporting up to 50 lbs; able to use measurement/test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs setups on machines, equipment or production lines.
  • Handles minor repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.

  • Approves inspection reports as required.

Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for setup and adjustment of tooling, equipment, and production lines. Performs minor repairs and maintenance duties. Understands specifications and work orders.

  • Handles minor repairs and maintenance of equipment with a minimum of supervision.
  • Understands specifications and work orders to assure that proper setup is achieved.
  • Approves inspection reports as required.
  • Basic fabrication as required.
  • Responsible for monitoring department equipment for safety. Informs supervision of unsafe conditions.
  • Completes paperwork as required, including time, inspection, downtime, scrap, productivity, and production reports.

Qualifications:
  • Required: High school diploma/GED.
  • Preferred: High school education with one year of manufacturing experience
  • SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must own basic hand tools. This position requires the individual to handle and transport materials and equipment weighing up to approximately fifty pounds. Must be able to use and understand measurement and test equipment. (e.g. caliper, micrometer, etc.)

  • Hourly pay range for this role is $24.57-$28.86
