Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a manufacturing technician to set up and adjust tooling, equipment, and lines. You will perform basic repairs and interpret specifications and work orders to ensure proper setups and safe operations.

You will document time and production data, assist supervision, and train new staff while maintaining clean, safe work areas and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: high school plus one year of manufacturing experience.
• Must own basic hand tools; capable of handling and transporting up to 50 lbs; able to use measurement/test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs setups on machines, equipment or production lines.
• Handles minor repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Understands specifications and work orders to ensure proper setup.
• Approves inspection reports as required.
• Performs basic fabrication as needed.
• Monitors department equipment for safety and reports unsafe conditions.
• Completes time, inspection, downtime, scrap and production reports.
• Fills in for supervision as needed.
• Trains new employees in the area.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized; adheres to quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Required: High school diploma/GED.
• Preferred: High school education with one year of manufacturing experience
• SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must own basic hand tools. This position requires the individual to handle and transport materials and equipment weighing up to approximately fifty pounds. Must be able to use and understand measurement and test equipment. (e.g. caliper, micrometer, etc.)

• Hourly pay range for this role is $24.57-$28.86
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
