Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, care, and well-being of the child.
• Maintain sleep and feeding schedule.
• Diaper changes.
• Keep baby’s room and bathroom clean and tidy.
• Maintain a sterile environment for the baby.
• Soothe the baby and get him back to sleep.
• Maintain a calm, peaceful environment for the baby.
• Keep track of the overnight routine (eating, sleeping, behavior).

Job description

Start Date: November 30 or December 1, 2026

Length of Contract: 8-9 weeks, with the possibility of an extension into February by mutual agreement.

Schedule:

• Ideally 7 nights per week.
• Monday – Friday: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m
• Saturday and Sunday: ideally 4:00 pm – 10:00 am
• Hours and nights may be reduced by mutual agreement as the baby’s sleep patterns develop.
• December 24-25 will be given off with pay,, as well as 28-Jan 2

Child’s age: The baby will be five months old at the start of the contract. The family is currently living outside the city and working with a Newborn Care Specialist.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child
• Maintaining the baby’s sleep and feeding schedule
• Diaper changes
• Maintaining overall healthy hygiene of the baby
• Keeping the baby’s room and bathroom clean and tidy
• Helping to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the baby
• Soothing the baby and getting him back down to sleep
• Help maintain a calm and peaceful environment for the baby
• Keep track of the overnight routine (the baby’s eating, sleeping, and behavioral patterns)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Newborn Care Specialist.
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Patient, proactive, and supportive

Compensation: $50.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
