Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a dependable packaging technician to safely and efficiently package finished products according to production and quality standards. You will maintain a clean, organized work area and support the production team to meet daily goals.

The role requires good communication, ability to follow policies, and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed. You will perform inspections, prepare goods for shipment, complete paperwork accurately, and participate in safety

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area per housekeeping standards.
• Perform inspections and monitor product quality to meet customer specs.
• Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation promptly.
• Attend and participate in required safety training and other programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by designated personnel.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

• Experience in manufacturing environment with packaging is preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verbally
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standards
• Perform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met
• Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
• Attend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programs
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions
• Subject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level.
• Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
