JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for accurately inputting and updating information into computer systemsand databases, ensuring data integrity and organization. Works with various data sources, both digitaland physical, and may also perform general administrative tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESPrimary Responsibilities:• Accurate and timely data entry into computer systems that includes but Is not limited to:o Family demographicso Health information including physicals, dental, screenings, immunizations, and childdevelopment process.o Emergency contacts and consentso Educational information including developmental assessments and child development planso Volunteer informationo Individual family partnership agreementso Attendance information and mealso Activity and service delivery tracking• Compiles reports for administrative and center level staff.• Works closely with staff to obtain missing or incomplete information• Works with staff and parents in developing community projects.• Recognizes and acts as a resource for parents and community volunteers.• Assist in obtaining information for children with suspected disabilities.• Attend agency and community meetings, workshops, training, and National AccreditationCommission and National Head Start Association, (NACS) Programs.Secondary Responsibilities:• Must present a professional image in conduct, attitude, and attire.• Satisfactory completion of mandatory trainings.• Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:• Associates degree in Information TechnologyCAO of WNY, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.• Three (3) years’ experience in data entryOR• High school diploma or GED equivalent• Five (5) years’ experience in data entry• Previous experience in community work or Head Start/Early Head Start preferred.Skills and Abilities:• Must always maintain confidentiality.• Active listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.• Possess good organizational skills.• Must prove ability to enter data in an accurate and timely manner by passing an entry-levelcomputer test at the time of application.• Proficient in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Demands:• Frequently required to sit.• Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise.• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.Application Requirements:• Completion of the following documents:o CAO Employment applicationo NYS SCR Clearance Form with acceptable clearanceo Criminal Record Certification and free of criminal convictions of crimes against children(misdemeanor or felony)o Fingerprinting required.o Release for Reference ChecksTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essentialjob functions.
