Job summary

Central San invites applications for a six-month Asset Management/GIS Internship in Martinez, CA. The intern will work on-site Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, starting in January or July. Candidates must be a college junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate and eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred candidates have GIS coursework and experience with Esri ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro, with an interest in GIS or geospatial science. Internship pays $40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled college junior/senior or graduate student, or recent graduate (within 12 months).
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Interest in GIS and geospatial sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with GIS and asset management projects.
• Edit and maintain GIS datasets.
• Read and extract data from record drawings.
• Perform field work and create/update maps.
• Publish map services and support the asset management system.
