Job summary

InnoPhase Inc., DBA GreenWave Radios, is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and implement bare metal and RTOS firmware for a 5G SoC. You will work on device drivers and lower PHY, in collaboration with hardware, software, and applications teams.

This 6-month contract is onsite in San Diego, requires 6+ years of experience, BE/CS, ARM Cortex, and strong debugging. You will participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and document design specs and user guides, with

Qualifications

• 6+ years' embedded SoC development experience.
• BE/CS required; MS preferred.
• Experience with ARM-based embedded environments.
• Hands-on RTOS concepts and any RTOS experience.
• Familiar with CM, version control and Agile flows.
• Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
• Strong initiative to resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop bare metal & RTOS firmware for a 5G SoC, including device drivers and lower PHY.
• Define, develop and verify SW/FW per company standards.
• Run and test software in simulation and on target hardware in lab (lab may be remote).
• Collaborate with Applications, Systems, HW and SW/FW teams to determine requirements.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Produce design specs and user guides for developers and customers.
• Read and understand detailed technical specifications.
• Contribute as individual contributor with some technical leadership.
