Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop embedded software for advanced algorithms and protocols. You will design, implement, and validate software across the development lifecycle on general purpose servers above RF/baseband.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Strong C/C++ programming and OO design skills.
Experience with multi-threading and OS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software across the full development lifecycle.
Interact with system architects to understand design and requirements and synthesize software designs.
Contribute to technical design reviews and assess architecture trade-offs, schedules and risks.
Debug on-target and off-target using embedded tools to resolve performance and stability issues.
Optimize performance and timing in real-time embedded systems and document designs.
