Responsibilities include planning differentiated lessons, maintaining progress records, collaborating with staff and families, and integrating technology to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in Social Studies (6-8) or applicable content.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience with growth-focused coaching and frequent observations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience teaching in urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with ability to modify during the year.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Maintain records of student progress and development.
• Use research-based practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Use curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families.
