Join Our Team as a Middle School Science Teacher at Noble Academy Columbus!

Noble Academy Columbus, a 3-Star School in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This role will inspire and equip students in grades 6-8 with the scientific inquiry and STEM skills necessary for academic success through engaging, hands-on, and student-centered instruction. Be part of a dedicated team that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation in a small and supportive school setting.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging science instruction aligned with state standards.
  • Foster a love for scientific exploration through hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications.
  • Utilize data to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Facilitate the school science fair, guiding students through the scientific process and project development.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to implement best practices and interdisciplinary STEM connections.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback to support student growth in scientific understanding and critical thinking.
  • Integrate STEM concepts and project-based learning strategies into science instruction.
  • Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and engagement.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, and academic achievement.

What We’re Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
  • A valid Ohio teaching certificate/license (or in the process of obtaining one).
  • Experience teaching middle school science preferred.
  • A passion for science, student growth, and interdisciplinary learning.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to student success.
  • The ability to use data to guide instruction and differentiate learning.
