Job summary

Kingston Community Schools is seeking a High School or CTE Principal – Assistant for a full-time, 220-day contract. The role reports to the Superintendent and focuses on managing operations and instructional programs for grades 6-12, with oversight of teachers and staff to ensure high standards of learning.

The salary range is $85,000–$92,000 with district annuity and comprehensive benefits. Michigan certification and teaching credentials are required, along with classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or Educational Leadership required.
• Michigan School Administrator Certification required.
• Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate required.
• Minimum of three years of successful secondary school administrative experience preferred.
• Experience building course schedules and co-curricular activities preferred.
• Experience as a classroom teacher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and educational programs of grades 6-12 under Superintendent guidance.
• Supervise teachers and staff, evaluate related programs.
• Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service.
