Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision aerospace components. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, monitor cycles, and verify parts meet specifications while collaborating with production teams.

This 5th shift role offers an hourly rate of $36.49 and a comprehensive benefits package. You will perform routine maintenance, document quality data, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and best practices.
• Experience inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming and turning.
• Understanding of machine shop safety practices, PPE requirements, and SOPs.
• Ability to lift/move materials around oils, coolants, and fluids.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC 3-axis milling and turning machines for aerospace components.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications; perform machining operations and adjustments.
• Inspect parts with measuring devices to verify specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain basic machine care to maximize uptime.
• Maintain production and quality documentation; follow safety and compliance.
