Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Anticipated 5th Grade Teacher for Oak Grove Elementary School in Missouri. The teacher will support student learning, deliver instruction aligned to the curriculum, and implement individualized learning plans as directed by the district.

Responsibilities

• Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
• Telework when requested by the District.
• Adapts classroom work for individualized learning plans within lesson plans.
• Administers developmental testing programs and assessments.
• Advises parents on student progress and expectations.
• Assesses student progress towards objectives and goals.
• Builds positive teacher/student relationships to engage learners.
• Collaborates with instructional staff and community resources to improve outcomes.
• Collaborates with teachers and support staff to implement curriculum and student plans.
• Directs assistant teachers and volunteers to support the classroom program.
• Facilitates student learning and engagement through structured study.
• Implements plans for literacy, math, health, and nutrition in compliance with guidelines.
• Manages student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Monitors classroom environment for performance and well-being.
• Organizes age-appropriate activities to ensure participation.
• Participates in meetings to share information for job duties.
• Performs other duties to support student and staff needs.
• Prepares written materials documenting progress and mandated requirements.
• Reports incidents and safety concerns per policy.
• Responds to emergencies to direct appropriate personnel.
• Responds to inquiries to resolve issues and provide information.
• Serves as a positive role model.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
