Qualifications

• Preferred: Previous Experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend work regularly, reliably and punctually.
• Telework when requested by the District.
• Adapt classroom work to address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.
• Administers developmental testing programs and subject-specific assessments for student progress.
• Communicate student progress and expectations to parents/guardians.
• Assess student progress towards objectives and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Foster positive teacher/student relationships to engage students.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes.
• Coordinate with teachers and support staff to implement curriculum and student plans.
• Demonstrate methods for effective classroom and subject-specific instruction.
• Direct assistant teachers, student teachers, and volunteers to support students.
• Facilitate student learning to improve academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills.
• Implement plans for literacy, math, science, health and nutrition as required.
• Manage student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Monitor classroom environments to support health and performance.
• Supervise students across classrooms and activities to ensure safety and participation.
• Organize age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to promote engagement.
• Participate in meetings to share information and coordinate efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support school operations.
• Prepare written materials such as grades and attendance to document progress.
• Report incidents for student safety and policy compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and inquiries to provide guidance and resolution.
• Serve as a positive role model in conduct and interaction.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
