Show Low Unified School District is seeking an elementary school teacher to join Nikolaus Homestead Elementary. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Arizona teaching certification with endorsement in the core content area, and an SEI endorsement (preferred).

The role reports to the Principal and is full-time with a 180-day calendar. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, align lessons to standards, and contribute to a positive school

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field.
• Certification: Arizona Teaching Certificate with endorsement in core content area.
• SEI Endorsement preferred.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

• Utilize Beyond Textbooks and other technology tools to enhance learning.

• Establish and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to review and support low-performing students.
• Address and document student behavior and attendance concerns.
• Participate in intervention processes and school-wide initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Certification: Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement in the core content area.
• Additional Requirements:
• Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement (Preferred).
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
