5th Grade Teacher

School Year: 2025-2026

Location: Twin Peaks Classical Academy

Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for the education of each pupil in their charge while working collaboratively with students, parents, other teachers, and staff to achieve the Twin Peaks Classical Academy mission. Provides an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute toward their potential for intellectual, emotional, psychological growth and maturation.

Education & Experience:

• Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement(s) preferred
• 2 years of teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of and commitment to Core Knowledge and Classical Education
• Demonstrated experience in effectively solving challenging problems through a positive, collaborative approach

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Ability to understand diverse learning needs, second language learning, and special education modifications
• A belief that all students are capable of learning
• Knowledge of behavior and classroom management techniques
• Ability to set high standards and achieve them
• Ability to openly communicate with students, parents, staff, and community members
• Enthusiasm to ensure student engagement
