Job summary

Community Roots Academy is seeking a Teacher Associate to support lead teachers in delivering a high-quality educational program. In this role, you will assist with instruction, facilitate small-group learning, and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a valid California Teaching Credential. Responsibilities include supporting student inquiries and reinforcing foundational skills in literacy and math.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or youth setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with inclusive instructional practices.
• Must complete CPR, First Aid, and other required training.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lessons aligned with California standards.
• Support small-group instruction and intervention activities.
• Supervise students during non-instructional settings.
