Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract 5G IOT/Lab Test Engineer position located in Overland Park, KS.

Responsibilities include reading carrier interoperability test plans, performing 4G/5G feature tests on devices, coordinating with network engineers, and compiling status reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and hands-on device-testing/logging software knowledge. Onsite work preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on device-testing and logging software experience are preferred.
Familiarity with LTE/5G NR NSA/SA KPIs, signaling, IMS, and call flows.
Ability to work in a team with cross-functional coordination and tight schedules.

Responsibilities

Read and understand carrier interoperability test-plan requirements with technical details.
Perform 4G/5G feature test-plan on devices ensuring steps are executed correctly.
Collaborate with network engineers to ensure parameters and test steps are accurate.
Assist with basic cellular log analysis to determine pass/fail.
Track issues to resolution and provide updates twice daily.
Compile and share execution status reports regularly.
Communicate critical issues/bugs in real time to the team.
