We are deploying infrastructure for 5G Networks. A telecommunications startup focused on efficient and strategic support to the nationwide 5G deployment, helping OEMs and operators achieve enhanced connectivity for their networks.

The field integration technician will be responsible for integrating new and existing technologies into the network, including LTE & 5G integrations according to site requirements. The role involves working with the construction crew on site to complete the job scope, and may also include installation, commissioning, and integration tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, and integrate new 5G and LTE equipment from Nokia on cell sites, including decommissioning and removing old equipment.
2. Coordinate tasks with integration engineers and perform related tasks as part of a growing team.
3. Have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working at telecommunications sites, including BTS/radio installation, fiber, telco, light electrical, etc.
4. Experience with installation, commissioning, and integration of Nokia LTE & 5G equipment.
5. Must have experience with Nokia BTS manager.
6. Experience with T-Mobile equipment is preferred.
7. Experience with NSN Multi-Flexi System & Airscale modules and radios.
8. Commissioning & integration of UMTS, GSM, LTE, and NR radio technologies.
9. Install routers, circuit breakers, GPS kits, LAN connections, CPRI fibers.
10. Understand IP and cable routing.
11. Mount and unmount cabinets, racks, and hardware.
12. Use a fiber scope for installations.
13. Knowledge related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services.
14. Maintain excellent computer skills.
15. Candidates with PTID who have installed or removed Nokia LTE & 5G equipment, especially involving installation and commissioning, are encouraged to apply.
16. Own a vehicle, basic tools for wireless site work, a laptop, cell phone, and be able to work outdoors.

Minimum Requirements

1. Associate's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field preferred; high school diploma and relevant experience considered.
2. NOKIA Certifications (L0, L1, GC Academy preferred).
3. Professionalism in representing the company with suppliers, customers, and site personnel.
4. Ability to work within maintenance windows (midnight to 6 am) or daytime as scheduled.
5. Willingness to travel regionally or out of market.
6. Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team, using technical skills to execute responsibilities and solve problems.
8. Capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing a 12 ft ladder.
9. Proficient in computer use and MS Office.
10. Valid driver's license and basic hand tools.
