Qualifications

Job description

Design and development of Test Plans and Test Cases based on client requirements and specifications through:

1. Build and maintain functional, smoke and regression automation scripts.
2. Create and maintain defect logs; provide summary reports on defects in accordance with established procedures for the application.
3. Maintain system knowledge; review, participate and document issues and defects found in walkthroughs of intermediate project deliverables (statements of work, estimates, requirements, functional designs, etc.).
4. Thoroughly document all defects found using the application’s defect-reporting template.
5. Review test plans and test cases with the client.
6. Periodically audit project files and documents for compliance with IDP procedures, standards, and guidelines.
7. Assist with the measurement of the cost of rework.
8. Oversee integration, functional and data testing to ensure the final implementation of standards through the successful execution of the QA process and procedures.
9. Work with QA team, development teams, project managers, technical services, and business users.
10. Review technical documentation that includes business requirements, functional specs, design, and release content documents.

Master’s degree in computer science/computer applications/engineering (Electronics & Communication/Electronics/Mechanical). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Electronics & Communication/Electronics/Mechanical) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of master’s degree. Will accept foreign education equivalent.
