Colorado Early Colleges is seeking a 504 Coordinator in Fort Collins to manage the Section 504 student caseload and coordinate all related documentation and meetings. You will ensure proper 504 accommodations are implemented in classrooms and provide testing accommodations as outlined in plans.

The role requires knowledge of ADA 504/Title II laws, collaboration with families and staff, and participation in MTSS and Mental Health teams. An anticipates start date is November 6, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Special Education or closely related field required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of current laws, regulations, and guidelines related to Section 504 and Title II under ADA.

Responsabilités

• Documents and maintains all records regarding students' 504 Plans.
• Manages and coordinates referrals and evaluates initial 504 requests.
• Schedules and facilitates annual 504 meetings; initiates tri-annual re-evaluations.
• Works with students, parents, and staff to ensure classroom 504 accommodations are implemented.
• Provides testing accommodations as outlined in a student's 504 Plan.
• Ensures timely communication with students, parents, and school staff about meetings and rights.
• Participates as a member of MTSS and Mental Health teams.
• Stays current on applicable laws and regulations; serves as a resource to staff.
• Works with partnering community colleges to help students access 504 accommodations.
• Attends meetings and professional development as requested by Academic Dean.

Schedules periodic re-evaluations of all students 504 Plans at least every three years.* Works with students, parents, and staff to ensure classroom 504 accommodations are being implemented.* Provides testing accommodations as outlined in a students 504 Plan.* Ensures timely communication with students, parents, and school staff by providing timely Notice of Meeting, 504 Parental Rights, and document parental consent of services.* Participates as a member of MTSS and Mental Health teams.* Serves as a resource to school administrators, instructors, and staff by staying current on all applicable laws and regulations.* Works with partnering community colleges to help students access 504 accommodations.* Attends meetings and professional development as requested by the Academic Dean.* Other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**Qualifications*** Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Special Education or closely related field required.
